Privacy Policy

It is National Cement's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.  Your privacy is important to us. At National Cement we have a few fundamental principles:

  • We don't share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  • We don't store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of one of our services.

We have adopted this Privacy Policy for two reasons.  One is to set forth rules by which we will conduct our business, and the other is to comply with any applicable laws.  In some cases, our use of information may be more restrictive than is set forth in this policy, and we may undertake procedures and routines to comply with applicable laws and to safeguard information in addition to those that are outlined here.  This policy is not an exclusive listing of all such policies.

If you feel that our policies fail to comply with any federal or state law governing the use of personal information, we request that you send a notice to that effect.  Our contact information is at the end of this document.

Below is our privacy policy which incorporates the goals set forth above:

Website Visitors. Like most website operators, National Cement collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. National Cement's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how National Cement's visitors use its website. From time to time, National Cement may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

National Cement also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on National Cement blogs. National Cement only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information. Certain visitors to National Cement's websites may choose to interact with National Cement in ways that require National Cement to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that National Cement gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. Those who engage in transactions with National Cement are asked to provide additional information, including the personal and financial information required to process those transactions.  National Cement does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Aggregated Statistics. National Cement may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. National Cement may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, National Cement does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information. National Cement discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on National Cement's behalf or to provide services available at National Cement's websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using National Cement's websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. National Cement will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, National Cement discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when National Cement believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of National Cement, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of a National Cement website and have supplied your email address, National Cement may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what's going on with National Cement and our products. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. National Cement takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

California Privacy Rights. California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the 'Shine The Light" law, permits our customers who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, information about the personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year.  If applicable, this information would include a list of the categories of personal information that was shared and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared information in the immediately preceding calendar year.  If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to the address listed at the end of this document.

Cookies. A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. National Cement uses cookies to help National Cement identify and track visitors, their usage of National Cement website, and their website access preferences. National Cement visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using National Cement's websites, with the drawback that certain features of National Cement's websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Children. This site is not directed towards children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 as part of this site.  If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personally identifiable information from a user under the age of 13 as part of this site, we will delete such information from our records.  Because we do not collect information from children under the age of 13, we also do not knowingly distribute such information to third parties.  We do not knowingly allow children under the age of 13 to publicly post or otherwise distribute personally identifiable contact information through the site.

Storage of Information. All information we gather on our site is stored within a database to which only we and our hosting services provider are provided access.  However, as effective as the reasonable security measures implemented by us may be, no physical or electronic security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our site's services or databases, nor can we guarantee that information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the internet.

Privacy Policy Changes. National Cement reserves the right to change its Privacy Policy from time to time in its sole discretion.  National Cement encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
